Today I finally finished reading the Preamble of Theodosia and the Pirates: The War Against Spain, which is the latest novel by Aya Katz. As I was reading, I thought that writing a couple of questions about what happened in this first segment of the book will help me think more about the text. So if you have read the Preamble of the novel, here are a few reading questions to think about:
1. What gift does Jean Laffite bring his son, and what lesson does this gift teach him?
2. What do Theodosia and Laffire quarrel about, and how is the disagreement resolved?
If you have not yet started reading the novel, you can purchase it over on Amazon.
