Experiment With Updating My Blog And Posting To My Facebook Page

I have several Facebook pages, but now I am interested in a new experiment. Perhaps I will start updating this blog more often, which automatically feeds into my Facebook fan page for it. In the past, I always enjoyed sharing my blog posts on my main Facebook page, but very few people click through and read these. So perhaps a more conducive use of my time for my blog would be to simply update it more often, and see how many people are actually interested in reading what I have to say.

  1. What do you mean by updating? Is it just writing a new post or doing something else to change how the blog looks? Is it automatically feeding via networked blogs? I have one blog that does that, but it gets more views if I hand post it to the fan page than through the automatic feed.

    1. I should have clarified about that. When I mean updating I mean just posting short thoughts to the blog frequently. WordPress has a feature where any new blog posts automatically feeds to my Facebook fan page, and it seems I get more traffic this way when I simply share links on my wall. Also, I thought rather than just share random thoughts on my Facebook page, why not try updating the blog more often with these musings, which can be posted to my Facebook fan page for people who truly want to read these.
