Everyone Has Something To Bring To The Table

Everyone has something to bring to the table. Maybe not everyone will be a multimillionaire, but each person has the potential to find their own strength and calling. I have decided to be more truthful about how I feel now, and I believe in building others up. This does not mean you have to like or agree with everyone, but being civil and allowing others to have their own opinions, and follow their dreams is quite easy to do. So maybe I am cheesy, but I would rather encourage people to pursue what makes them happy rather than bicker. I know there is a place for debates, but I do not feel that I want to be engaged in many of these at the moment. Neutrality is something I am settling for, even though I will share some of my ideas.  I just cannot say that the current atmosphere has been conducive for this. But I still believe in encouraging people, and I will do it in my own way.

  1. I agree. It is not so hard to be civil and even to maintain a cordial friendship even though you know your friends hold opinions that you do not agree with. Our guests over the weekend are much to the left of me in politics, but we had no trouble getting along and having a good time together.

    1. It is just getting a bit irksome now everyone thinks they can only be friends with people who mirror their exact opinions. Well, that might not work out so well because people will fraction away more and more within groups. One of my friends voted for Trump, and she is one of the kindest people. She is way more generous than me giving granola bars and water to homeless people, but some of the ardent Hillary supporters would have you believe that someone like that is just a monster. I really do not want everyone to think like me, I think that would be kind of boring. I am glad to have met friends like you who allow people to be themselves.
