How To Really Take A Break From Forums

On forums I often read things that I consider hurtful, and I have a tendency to speak out when this happens. I do not regret having spoken out when people barbed others, but why do I take on the problems of the world? I could spend hours arguing with people in cyberspace who think they are correct when they attack someone, but I will never change anyone’s mind, and of that I am sure! My call for civility and courtesy in cyberspace is like asking people at a wild fraternity party to sit down and have a proper tea party instead: it is never going to happen!

Yes, it does hurt to admit almost all of your time spent talking to people on forums has mostly been wasted, but you have to understand these people are coming from a different place than you. Also, another thing I do not like about forums as of late is how I could be posting something to my blog, or working on my articles, but getting distracted by threads people start. Today I am starting fresh with my decision to say good bye to forums, and this time I truly mean it. I never really posted much to any forum before January of 2008, except for one that discussed certain specialized history topics. Generalized forums seem to be a bit of a pit fall because people form cliques, and I have no desire to repeat junior high a second time around. I was not popular then, and I have no desire to lead the pack now. For the last couple of years I have had odd experiences on forums, and I have taken breaks, but this week I am realizing how time consuming forums really are for me. I am pulling in and deciding to take a more introverted stance on forums because quite frankly I have grown out of them.

I Want A Fun Feel Good Movie

It seems like all the movies coming out lately are very serious, and no fun or lively themes. In the eighties and even in the nineties we had so many fun feel good movies like Sixteen Candles, but this month I do not see any movies coming out like that. I just want a fun feel good movie to go see. If you know of one tell me please because maybe I am just blind.

Evgeny Plushenko Did A Great Job

Evgeny Plushenko wore a great costume, and I enjoyed his footwork tonight. The sparkles on his costume caught my eye as he gracefully skated down the ice. It made me want to start twirling around in the living room, and pretend like I was skating too. I am a horrible skater, but I do enjoy watching the sport.
